SOI/Medieval Yore Help

[Mail] - This leads to the mailroom where a message can be sent to any citizen (account holder) of State of Insanity and the sister sites like Medieval Yore. Enter the nickname and the 'tail' (like @my for Medieval Yore) to write to the citizen.


|SSL| - For the secured server login, citizens can use this link.


|SeeAll| - The See All lists the latest postings into the site in the rooms and the corkboards. It shows what was said and lists where.


|Hot| - A link for the 'Hotlist' shows who is online and has made a post on the site and sister sites. It shows where they have posted and the name. There are links to join in where they are. It does not show however whether or not they had logged in, only if they have posted in a room or corkboard. This also does not show what was posted, just that the rooms are active.


|Controls| - The controls leads to the account controls of citizens/members where they can make rooms and register names. For noncitizens/guests, if a citizen gives you a temporary 'Visa', it can be activated through here. A Visa gives temporary rights into member only rooms if there are member only rooms they wish to show you.


|Old| - This allows a person to view the history of the room they are in to see what was said in the past as far back as the history is available. The history can be as far back as when the room was made but may also be back till the last time the history was archived, cleared, or the server of the room was changed.


|Auto] - Automatic... This reloads the room automatically to see if there are any new postings.


[Local Controls] - Members can lock their account through here so that the next attempt to use their account requires the password. They can also see the list of people on their 'Blocked' list (ignore function). A room owner can also reset the Room Counter in the menu or 'Clear the Room' which would clear the history. All chatters, guests and members, can change the colors they view the room with according to preset color schemes.


[Undo| - This is a function in rooms to undo your last post. On corkboards, this option is not listed but to undo your last post, click on the ~ or * after your name of your post that you want to delete in order to remove it. (The * is for guests. You can only delete your post for that session. Going offline and returning the next day, it will not give you the option to delete the post.)


OOC - Out of Character - Rooms that are OOC is for chatting. Rooms not listed as OOC should be assumed to be part of the Medieval Yore RPG unless it is posted in the description or in the room. Out of Character conversations or comments in a game room not meant to be part of the RPG, can be made by notations such as within double parenthesis.
For examples: (( An ooc comment. )) or ((OOC: Comment.)) or other such methods.


Talk/Listen - To make a post/comment into a room or onto a corkboard, the talk/listen button needs to be used after typing. The room does not automatically show new postings unless the Auto feature is used.
